🐰 HANESukusho ← Grab it with your mouse and drop it on the bookmarks bar at the top of your browser

If you can't see the bookmarks bar, press Ctrl+Shift+B (on a Mac, ⌘+Shift+B). It's just one bookmark, so no extension install or admin permission is needed.

2Click that bookmark on the page you want to save

  1. Open the page you want to save and click “🐰 HANESukusho” on your bookmarks bar.
  2. A small HANETOOL panel appears in the top-right corner. Click “Start”.
  3. When the browser asks whether to share this tab, click “Share” (or “Allow”).
  4. The page scrolls to the bottom by itself. Please wait until it finishes (a few seconds to a few tens of seconds).
  5. When the result appears, save it as PNG, JPEG or PDF.

Works in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on a computer. Press Esc to stop midway. “Share” only lets the tool read the page as an image — nothing is sent anywhere.

What this tool does

HANESukusho is a free tool that saves a whole web page, top to bottom, as a single image. A normal screenshot only captures what is visible on screen, but this tool scrolls the page automatically while capturing and stitches everything into one image. There is no extension to install — you just add one bookmark.

How to use it (3 steps)

When it comes in handy

Keeping a record of a whole web page's design and content

You can keep the page from top to bottom as one image.

Useful whenever you want to keep the look of a full page: comparing your site before and after an update, sending a page in progress for review, researching competitors, and so on. No more taking and lining up multiple screenshots.

Capturing a full page on a computer where extensions aren't allowed

It's just one bookmark, so there's nothing to install and no admin permission needed.

Full-page screenshots usually require an extension or developer tools. Even if extensions are blocked on your work computer, or you'd rather not install one on a shared PC, this tool works with just a bookmark.

Turning a page into a PDF for printing or documents

Saving as “PDF” gives you a PDF split into portrait A4 pages.

Printing to PDF from the browser can break the layout or drop background colors. This tool makes a PDF that looks exactly like what you see on screen, and chooses page breaks that avoid cutting through text where possible.

Troubleshooting

Nothing happens when I click the bookmark

Wait until the page has finished loading and click it again. It won't work if running bookmarklets is blocked, as on some work computers.

Images are missing or blank in places

On pages that load images only as you scroll, they may not load in time. Scroll through the page to the bottom once yourself, then try again.

Menus and banners fixed to the top or bottom of the screen appear only once, at the top of the page. Sticky menus are put back in their original position for the capture.

Supported browsers

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on a computer. It does not work on smartphones, Safari or Firefox.
